Stopped by this shop looking for lipo packs for my racing drone.
The customers were more helpful than the guy behind the counter. He was on his ohone while a toddler in a walker scooted around the store spreading food crumbs and chewing on random parts packages he pulled off display shelves.
I asked the guy for batteries and he tried to sell me some way too big and heavy, not what I asked for. Then he goes on to try to tell me that the hobby shops don’t mess with drones any more because the FAA has outlawed them and now people are going back to flying helis because of registration of the drones. I was immediately like what in the heck are you going on about? I explained that helis and drones require the same simple faa registration. He stutters about a bit and comes back with that it is because helis don’t have cameras. I basically told him he was full of s$&@ and he shouldn’t be deterring people from getting into drones with lies just because they don’t sell them there. They do sell helis, imagine………
I picked up my gear and left never to return again.
