Hi guys, has anyone else been having trouble switching between control apps?
If I use one app, the default plug-and-play connection becomes set to that app.
eg, if I use DJI GO, if I then want to use DroneDeploy on the next flight, I find I need to flush the phone's cache and manually reset defaults for the DJI GO app and the DroneDeploy app in order for the phone to allow DroneDeploy to control the connection.
This is quite a pain in the butt.
However, I have found one solution which at least makes these steps faster:
I installed this app:
QuickShortcutMaker - Android Apps on Google Play
That allows me to create a 2 home-screen shortcuts which link directly to the application settings for the DJI GO and DroneDeploy apps directly, in order to fast-track me through the steps to "reset defaults" for each of these apps.
It's just a workaround for a bit of an annoying and persistent problem.
