NO,NO,NO hacking anything is not needed and with some simple settings you can reach 60 mph (with no wind)
The Air 3s Is an amazing drone and should be treated with respect , the average speed of 40 something will get you where you want to go ,If you are looking for real speed move on to FPV ,The Air 3s is a CAMERA drone for petes sake
I will have too say that this here is some pretty darn good advice. I fly FPV myself and honestly the Only 2 good FPV Drones DJI makes while VERY fun too fly are filled with "cons".
I have a couple of
DJI FPV's and while they are incredibly fun to fly, They are extremely heavy and you do a bunch of "Hard Throttling" to keep it zig-zagging close to the ground. Not a bad thing really but you have to "remember" you are flying the DJI or you can turn it into a fast rolling ball on the ground in no time lol.
The
Avata 2 is a
very very nice Drone and I almost got one but after a delay in getting stock from my store some further thought changed my mind.
The
Avata 2 has a great feature that will let you "turn off" manual mode and this sounds like
and can be a great feature.
If you are looking for
fast and fun tho, Honestly all the DJI Drones loose there luster once you start craving a little more handling or speed. DJI Drones are "closed" meaning you take what you get, NO Tuning! Once you have flown FPV for some time you come to understand this as a huge "con" when purchasing. Some DJI Drones would fly much better if they could be "tuned" and
DJI is Notorious for Terrible Drone setups.
I do now have the new
DJI FPV controller and
goggles and I use them on my GEPRC Whoop.
The Cinelog 30, while not having the features that a Novice could use, are hands down the best whoops! but they will cost you MUCH more, if you want them too "DO" the same thing as an
Avata! Geps dont have great Cameras for filming.
Notice I did not mention the
Avata 1 We call it "the screaming Mosquito" and they are just an O.K. whoop.
If You want to get into the Fast and furious world of FPV Your first Drone should be a simulator.
