Hey guys what's up got a quick question when the battery auto discharges does the actual battery turn on?

Such as if I have the battery on the actual mavic... and it begins to discharge... will it turn on my mavic??

The battery and Mavic will not turn on.

If your battery is set to auto discharge in 5 days and I have it in my hard case, do the batteries create heat?

I charged 3 new batteries saturday and only got to use 2 of them flying for the first time. The one unused was still in my hardcase and forgotten, and as I took it out today 4 days later I noticed it was lukewarm. It has never been in the Mavic or used with the Go 4 app, so my 2 day deplete setting was not activated. I found it strange that it should be warm / generating heat.

Since it purportedly takes 2-3 days to discharge, I would expect the temperature gain to be minimal.

They do, but it's not enough heat to damage the case.
