Quickshot Dronie Recording Question/Request

I actually like this shot, while being cautious not to overuse it. The only thing I wonder is, is there a way to record the M2's return as well? I know I can reverse the footage in post, but but able to record both the ascension and the re-approach would be useful. Any ideas? Thank you.

There is return recording available with Mavic Pro, but not Mavic Pro 2.
