Confirmed. With no SD card inserted in the Mini 2, Quickshots menu unavailable. For the record, with card inserted, even on the ground Quickshots menu is available.

My Mini 2 purchase came with a 128GB card, so I have always had a card installed in the Mini 2. As a result, I never noticed that with no card installed, the record or snapshot button(center button) shows a little tablet/phone icon instead of the usual icons. Having no card installed, I assume you are seeing this screen(click photo to expand)...

Yes, that's the exact screen I see.

Thanks for checking this! I'll get the SD card in when I get home tomorrow and have a play with some quickshots !

Excellent, glad to hear it. Just keep in mind, with no obstacle avoidance sensors on the Mini 2, it is up to you to determine when using a Quickshot will be safe. Might be a good idea to check out some Youtube videos on Quickshots to get an idea what sort of clear space is needed.
