Radio signal lost

Hi.
I had a very wierd incident. Today when middle of a flight the control unit reported signal lost. The mavic sudden rose to 30m then decended and stopped at 3m and hovered there. I could do nothing controller failed to reconnect so did phone.
Have anyone experienced something like this. It felt like someone had taken control over it. When the batteries almost died i suddenly regained control.

Sounds like you lost signal and the "RTH mode" was set to hover, if this is correct, your drone did exactly what it was supposed to. Why you lost signal I do not know.

It's probably a good idea to switch to Smart Return To Home instead of hover.
