Seems I hit 3500’ and that is it. Spotter on radio watching it…. Got out to 5500 across the water.. but 1 mile is pretty crappy IMO. That is with Alientech booster antenna….

Going to try a different controller to see if its my controller, but my buddies property is pretty big and when I told him range he was not happy.

Your question poses heaps of comments about flying BVLOS.

However, I would suspect that one should get better than 3500 feet. Your Alientech booster antenna may be having some connectivity issues as well.

Appreciate the reply. With my stock smart controller antennas it was 3500’..alientech got me to 5500.

Reckon I’m old enough to realize by now when you read 8km, its an engineers wet dream calculation and not reality.

If you rusing the Dual Alien Booster you will need to make some changes in your transmission setting and than your off to your Dream Lands.
