First post here, Hi!

So...i have a mavic (like anyone else nowadays...)
I also have an nvidia k1 tablet with hdmi output.

Today me and my mate went out flying.
When using the hdmi output to my goggles i made a weired discovery.
After ~700m the image started to become bad. You know that kind of digital interference when it shows like big pixels?
Same result when i changed direction as soon as i reached ~700m.

Landed and took of again with a fresh battery. Without the goggles this time. No problem att all reaching 1000m.

Can the hdmi make some kind of noise to cause this?
Anynone have a clue?

Howdy from Wyoming Nozer, welcome to the community, plenty of fine folk and excellent information here. I have a K1 but have never used it with goggles, perhaps someone here can provide more assistance.

I've never had this happen but I used the HDMI out on my RC when flying my Inspire, haven't tried it on the Mavic with USB to HDMI output.

Welcome to MavicPilots too by the way! Fly safe!

I use my K1 with the headplay goggles (I have the DJI also but prefer the Headplay) and use the HDMI port and never have any problem with image quality. My last flight was out 6.5 miles (13 miles round trip) and back and had a clear image the whole trip! I am using Marshmallow 6.1 on my K1 and 400 on my A/C.

I wonder if it could be your HDMI cable causing interference!

I also belive it have something to do with the cable.
The goggles are ”Eaching goggles two”. And i doubt the goggles can cause any interference that bad.
Going to find another cable to try with.
Would really like to find a thin cable with mini hdmi in both ends. But that seems impossible.

I use this one and it is high quallity! Ultra-thin HDMI cable for Headplay

Edit: Make sure you get the Mini to Mini cable.
