Just finished surgery on my RC controller to get better more reliable signal strength when flying my Mini Air 3 Pro. Sorry for the messy desk.

I've had a bit of time to perfect it but still not perfect as it would be better with RC 2 attenae to fit snugly when folded down

Was the mod just replacing the OEM antenna with a 3rd party antenna?

Also, have you tested the new antennas?

Yes I have tested my mods and yes the signal strength has improved and became more reliable. The modification was never about distance as I only fly line of sight, it was about signal reliability and that has improved.

Thanks for the info. Besides my DJI drones, I also fly FPV. On those drones, I use TBS Crossfire transmitters for the same reason. Although it will allow me to outfly my batteries, it's the solid, stable signal that I'm after.
