RC2 Controller AND Goggles with air3?

Has anyone tried to make a way to pair the goggles with the DJI Air 3 and THEN use the RC2 controller(not motion controller) to control the drone?

Didn't work. I spent a couple of hours messing around and I couldn't get them to work together with the DJI RC2. I didn't check if the update now disabled the ability using the RC1 and the Mini 3 Pro. I plan to try this weekend.

Curious to see if you get this working I might grab some fpv goggles. Depending on their functionality...

It only works with the MC2 for now.
