Yes it is. I can narrate a flight, and add music to it later. Sweet.

In the latest version of DJI GO app there is now an option to record audio from your phone or tablet. At least that is what I saw on a YouTube video. I haven't actually done it.

Only on your iPad, if you transfer the MIcro SD card to your iPad it will overwrite. You would have to strip the audio track from your iPad and paste it to your Drone's video in post production.

The simpler way is just to use the phone/tablets built in audio recorder and that way you have a file that you can just paste into post production work without having to strip it from the video files on the phone.
