The park is located just west of Las Vegas, but still closed. Over 10,000 acres but evidently not big enough for social distancing? People largely ignoring the rules and parking along the road. Many people walking the trails or cycling the park. Ironically, people seem to be gathering in closer groups because the park is closed?
The park is one of the few that allow drone flights. I took the opportunity go and enjoy the sunshine. Perhaps you have heard the conspiracy theory that Vitamin D is good for the immune system?
While Nevada has started a partial reopening, the web page does not list any dates to resume operations.
