Reducing ISO noise

As we all probably know, Mavic isn`t the the best in taking still pictures at ISO 1600. You usually get a lot of noise.
Here`s a technique I found in another forum.
-Shoot still pics in Burst mode, 7 pics.
-Open pics in Photoshop and copy all pics into one so you have 7 layers. Select all layers.
-Go Edit, Auto-align layers
-Next Layers, Smart objects, Convert to Smart Object
-Then Layers, Smart objects. Stack mode, Mean

Is this something that can be done in PS Elements?
