Refresh firmware

Hi all. Does it help to refresh firmware.?
I find some glitches on my Mavic Air. Nothing serious and mostly nothing repeating itself... Just here and there sometimes something good small. Like a drift or a wabble...

Also I flew side by side,(about and hour ltr, at dusk) and the same route as my father's Air and his one got slightly better range and view onscreen. Example he could go about 40m further with less lag...

Is this normal? Could a refresh help this?

Hi, I had a problem with my Mavic Pro. I was getting "Downward Sensor Failure" several times after flying for a few minutes. I contacted DJI Support and was advised to refresh the firmware, which I did. So far, I ,haven't had a repeat of the error message.

I plan on updating firmware each and every time. DJI is continually make updates to make the Air better. Every time one of their drones crash they can gather data and sometimes make changes to the software.

I don’t understand people who don’t update.
