Did search, but found nothing on this. As of Sept 2021, do I now need to register both of my drones, not just one like it's been.

If flying as a recreational flyer, the number is the same on all the aircraft.
You might "register" it to add it to the list in your account.
Whatever number you have now will be the one you use.
I forgot to renew mine and reregistered with my account a month later and still had the same numbers for my Spark and MA2.
