Remote disconnected

Has anyone had issues with the remote disconnecting since the newest update? I had mine disconnect twice. The controller still let me fly but I couldn't see any video.

I've never had that happen. It was as soon as I took off as well.

Thank you. That seems to have worked. I was using a note 8 and the usb c cable was a little jacked.

I am on the latest update and 2 of us took flight yesterday to get the disconnected issue happening too both of us. i was using an Ipad mini 4 and the other friend an iphone8. We had too either come out of the app and re-enter or remove the cable from the ipad mini and then reinsert the same to instantly connect back. All this while the photos & videos were being taken and that never got stopped. I guess there is some new bug in the latest update.

Did you and your friend use the bottom USB connection on the RC or the one on the side, where charger goes?

Hi,

As I was using the iPad I was using the bottom USB connection. My friend was using the iphone 8 and was using from the side where the charger goes. Also note I was first using a third party ipad charger and after the issue, changed to the original cable in my second flight, second battery and still got the disconnection. So, the cable fault also can be ruled out. I think this is a general bug, expecting more users to get affected and also expecting DJI to push a update soon.

If its the same symptoms, this has been happening for Android users since .18. Many users with older devices found success by rolling back to before .18. IOS seemingly had been immune to the Go4 crAPP, maybe not any more eh??
