Hello. I am new to drones and want to know if it is possible to set specific boundaries in which my drone will fly. I have a rectangular 20 acres and would like to tell my drone to autonomously fly within that area and record whatever is does. Is this possible with a Mini SE?

You can do this with the phone app Litchi, which supports the Mini SE (but not the Mini 2 SE, make sure you have the original Mini SE).
This solution is suggested based on your asking about autonomous functionality.
To constrain arbitrary manual flight with you at the sticks you can set the height and distance limits in the settings to creat a virtual cylinder of space around you that the drone will stop at the boundary.
It is not possible to create an arbitrary region that will constrain your drone. It is possible using the FlySafe geozone capability, but DJI controls this.

You can't let your Drone fly by itself without supervision. You must always have the Drone in your view while flying.
Might be worth reviewing https://www.faa.gov/uas/recreational_flyers for info about what can and shouldn't be done with consumer drones. And what the minimums are for flying them.
