I don't use, RTH, I just land manually. I tested it once long ago just to make sure it works and be familiar with it.

For those of you who have used it a lot:

Does RTH work exactly the same in Sport mode as in P-Mode?

If you do RTH in while in Sport mode, does it fly home any faster? Does it descend any faster?

What's the difference between RTH and Smart RTH?

Does RTH operate the same regardless of whether VSP (forward OR downward sensors) are turned on or off?

Does the Pause button always STOP the RTH process and/or Auto Land immediately?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes RTH works the same in both modes

Nope

Nothing except that Smart RTH initiates when it deems that battery level it has is only enough to make it back. Wth Smart RTH extra OA features may be active if set.

The pause button stops RTH and landing when high up. Close to the ground only toggling the sport mode switch will exit the forced landing mode.

Smart RTH will kick in automatically if the control signal is lost for more than three seconds.

Edit. That's wrong...see post #5

Without having it tried myself, there were posts suggesting the Mavic would fight wind better while returning in sport mode.

Remember if RTH is initiated, the Mavic does not take the wind into account. Many pilots have lost their birds because of this.
