I was initially upset with the video limitations of the camera. No slow mo and really only usable video in 4k 24, and 2.7k 24/30. It flies great and is perfect for travel and for small intimate stuff like weddings but with no slow-mo, I feel like my Solo will be the go to drone for weddings and events. My Inspire is just too big for intimate situations like that.

Attached is a video of the issues I'm having with my gimbal. 45 degrees outside, 4K 24, ISO 100, Shutter Speed 500. I'm not interested in sending it in for repair. It's brand new, I shouldn't need to repair it. I'll order another new one and see what happens.

All from a single flight that lasted about 7 minutes. This many hiccups in that short amount of time is unacceptable and not even flying fast.

Sorry, but it is unrealistic to think that a relatively sophisticated device like the Mavic Pro should arrive and operate perfectly the first time. It is unfortunate that you are having problems, but you don't even mention if you have tried anything to resolve them. To compare the 3DR Solo (released in 2015) to the Mavic Pro is the ultimate in Apples and Oranges. Before you bash something, at least try to take responsibility for trying to find a solution. If you'd rather have a drone that relies on GoPro (with a very limited future), has a shorter flight time and a range of 805 meters vs. Mavic's 7000... go for it. There's a 3DR Forum where you'll be a hero.

Actually it is.. very realistic that I would expect a brand new item would operate perfectly. After all, that's what a decent QC process is for.

There was no comparison. Re-read before getting your panties in a bunch. What I said was, my solo is the tool that will be used in situations where the Mavic fails to perform. The same way you'd use a wrench to loosen a nut and not a screw driver. The camera on the Mavic is neither an apple nor orange, it's a lemon because it does 4K doesn't make it better than a GoPro because the GoPro does 4K and 2.7k at 60fps at 60mbps, sorry the Mavic camera could not hold a GoPro's dirty draws.

I guess DJI and the OSMO will be the new action cam of the future?? Not hardly! I own one of those as well. The GoPro is safe for now and is a better offering than anything in it's class - apples to apples. If I were concerned about 7000 meters range, my undies would be moist. I'm not!

You blew your load to soon with your response, next time read and comprehend the statement before you respond with asinine and thoughtless balderdash. Thanks for playing though! I'm done with you.

All abrupt start/stops / big stick inputs. They will do this on any mavic with default settings.
Be "cinematically" smoother on the sticks and/or dial down the braking and response.

Sorry, but I don't wear panties and I'm too old/mature for anything to make my undies moist. But it's pretty obvious whose panties are in a wad. I'm sure you'll respond and want to start a urinating contest, but this will be my last reply. I don't have to have the last word.
