I honor you and will respect your claim to Name. I laugh at the Dear Abby/Ann Lander columns where some folk arrange an elaborate Gender Reveal and then announce the Name they have chosen for their yet-to-be-born child only to have the Name appropriated by a friend, relative, or whoever, because the name is really cool and the "Name Thieves" could not come up with something original…

As you christen you Drone "Chimera" don't crack any Champaign Bottles over it… In Greek mythology, a "Chimera" is a fire-breathing female monster with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail. Is your Chimera a girl?

Yes she is. Fire breathing and multiheaded is what made me decide Chimera was a good name. I am a fan of mythology a bit so I recognized the name but never knew it was also the name of such an awesome airship. Hahaha

Absolutely - my M2P is called Maverick, My M3 - Maven and my Mini 2 is Morris (a nod to the famous Morris Mini car)

A friend of mine had a really sweet Morris Minor years ago. Everyone was like “what sort of weird Beetle is that?”

Absolutely, My Mavic 3 is "Eagle One" and my Mini 3 is "Little Bird"!

I named mine after my Border Collie. "Bonnie Lass." My other drones were named after mythical beings: Centaurus, Neptunus, Venus.

Usually after some sort of failure, like...

“One Screw Loose” (Drone, not me)

“Fell From Sky” (aka “Long Fall” )

“Lil Clipper” (as in clipped a little leaf and took a tumble)
