How's everyone doing!!! I'm brand new to the forum and I have been doing a ton of research on wjat type of drone to get . I have countless hours on you tube with I g the past couple of weeks . I finally decided to go with the Mavic Pro but........ I have seen many posts and rumors about the Mavic Pro 2 como g out around the middle or end of March 2018 . So I will be waiting till that comes out and purchase that one. Super excited to start my new hobby !!!!! I hope to have some good convos and ask some questions on this forum . I looking forward to a fun filled hobby .

Same as the both of you, but bought my Mavic Pro three days ago. Complete impulse purchase!!
Not had a chance to fly it yet due to sucky weather. Super super excited to get out with it but in the meantime looking lots up on here and YouTube.
Now that you’ve mentioned the pro 2 am wondering if I should return this one and wait but if it turns out not to be until June I’m out!!

Especially as the price has dropped. I just can't help but think I would pine for the one inch sensor. I also understand the present technology (as good as it is) is now two years old.

If you do get a pro and the 2 comes out soon, at least you will have gotten a good price on it. They are down to 800 on amazon. I am hearing the 2 is gonna be a more like 1300

I actually just pulled the trigger on the pro. I got it for 769.00 on Amazon .

Just flew my MP I got it for 769.00 on Amazon . I could not be happier . Definitely need another battery though . Trying to get all my settings right . The extra battery should be here on Tuesday . I am still in beginners mode though as I am brand new to the hobby . Still a little turned around on the controls . Also thought I would have to calibrate it but ..... it didn't ask me to so I took off and the MP was perfect !!!
