SD Card switch

On the micro SD card housing for the computer it has a little tiny sliding switch....what does that do?

You mean the micro SD to full SD adapter? That's a write protection switch.

Some but not all have a handy little arrow labelled Lock or Protect

Yeah it was the adapter......seems a bit silly.......anyone can slide it....

And it can be sliced accidentally when taking in and out of a drone, camera, or card reader. If in the lock position it will let you
read to the card, but not record to it any more.

Great......I moved it up and down a couple of times......now I dont know if its locked or not

Up (toward contacts) if unlock. Down is in protect mode.
