Indeed. The proof is in the pudding, or, seeing is believing.
From what I can gather you still need a computer/laptop to do any transfer. Only positive is micro SD port.
Like, putting that card into a regular SD caddy is so.....challenging.

For a power source couldn't you use the DJI USB adapter? You might already have that with you and you only really need it long enough to copy off the files from the card. Seems like that might work.
Inca All in One USB 3.0 Card Reader
There's other units out there that have own power source.
All the idiots will buy it just because it has the DJI logo on it.I thought this was all-in-one. If what you say is true, this is absolutely idiotic and nothing more than an external drive with a DJI logo.
What is DJI doing? It also requires a machine with USB-C. Not exactly mainstream? Nothing more than a name licensing money grab apparently. I hope this isn't an indication of the direction DJI is going now.Okay - let me confirm that this is just an external drive with an MicroSD slot... that's it. You are not going to do anything in the field with this at all unless you have a battery to port it. This is so dumb. Just got mine and it is going back to Amazon pronto.
I expected more from a company that has produced ground-breaking products. Customer service is something many companies do not do well ...Why is it sad. DJI have never cared about customer service and have thrown monkeys on telephones to deal with technical issues.
Move over DJI and let someone move in who knows about PROPER customer service and quality.
