Hey guys just want to share my field charging setup, keep in mind that this setup is NOT going to save weight but to save money invest in battery instead. Since the Mavic Pro's battery has one of the highest power-to-weight ratio (235g for 3S 3830MAH), also using LiPo to replace LiPo will never be effective.
But as I'm a DIY quad/hexa/FPV flyer I've already have countless 4-6S Lipo.

The item in my setup:
A DC-DC down stepping switch, it accept 12-55v input and 1.25-53v adjustable output, has a rating of 300W or 20A. (240g)
Car cigarette lighter plug splitter with two USB ports. (105g)
DJI Mavic car charger, it accept 12.4-16v or 25-30v (188g)
$10 3rd party Mavic car charger. Accept 11.8-16.4v (116g)
4S 10C 5200MAH LiPo. (430)

As you can see the accepted input voltage for both Car Charger, a fully charged 4S(16.8) will be too high while 3S(12.6) will cut out very soon after discharge, that's why i need to add the DC-DC switch.

The total charging setup weight 649g plus the battery i use. I was able to fully charge 3-4 Mavic Pro battery(Landed at ~20%) with 2x 4S 5200 in parallel (LVC at 3.7/cell).

I've modded the DC-DC down stepping switch to XT60 input and output. While the splitter also takes XT60 input. I could probably save 200-300g by cutting off the car charger cigarette plug and change to XT60. And i don't even need the splitter with that.

Some side notice:
The input of DJI charger peak at [email protected] (78W) and the 3rd party one peak at 4.5A (62W), the DJI does charge a little faster.
While running both charger, the whole setup runs cool except the splitter did get warm but still acceptable, i've changed to 12awg wire just in case the cheap wire it came with will be melted under 10A+ current.
