We have seen a few to many problems with people trying to Hand Catch there drones so we created the Lunar Landing Pad for those that wanted a safer alternative to catch the Mavic 2 and Mavic pro Mavic Dual Enterprise.
It quickly became a favorite for search and Rescue teams as your drone was ready to go from the Launch on any surface .

You could also see at a glance if you had everything you needed for a job.

Let me know your thoughts!

I like the idea but how stable is the grip and landing surface if you come down off centre?

We have never had anyone have any issues coming down but this may help get an idea how it works.

If you put it on a circular rotational, um, 'thing', like they use under lazy susans, it would be great for doing compass calibrations. I always feel like such an idiot when calibrating, plus it would be more accurate than waving the drone around haphazardly.

Oh yes, a center bubble level as found on camera tripods would be nice so you could get it dead flat...
