I just got the Mavic 2 and took it out for a quick test. For some reason, the shutter release button on the remote doesn't work (just beeps like it's performing an autofocus). If I push the orange shutter release button on the DJI Go 4 app it works fine.

Anyone else seeing this issue or know what's going on? I never had this issue on my Mavic Pro or Phantom 3.

On my Mavic 2 Pro I used the shutter release on the RC all the time. Also the video start/stop button. I don't think I've used the button in the app yet in 10 flights. When shooting stills press the R button once to take another still. Press the L button once to switch to video and then once more to start recording. Give it a good solid click.

ITs changed functionality and now has 2 positions like a real camera.
Half press focuses, full press takes a photo.
In reality it means you need to press and hold a little for a shot. I quite like it, no need to tap to focus any more once you get used to it.
