Side Port Disconnect Issues

I haven't seen any recent discussions regarding this. Is anyone else having disconnect issues when using the side port and DJI flat cable with an Android device? I use a Galaxy S7; when I use the side port (which I prefer because of the low profile) it disconnects randomly on EVERY flight. I've finally had to stop using it because I can't risk a crash. If I use the bottom port with the included round cable, it's solid as a rock. Just got my Mavic last month, so it's fairly current on firmware.

I had this issue from the day I got my Mavic.

Assumed it was the lightning cable provided so have been using the bottom USB.

Asked DJI for a replacement cable, so far I've been waiting for a month for a new one...

Have tested the side port with a micro to standard USB converter and plugged a normal lightning cable in and all seemed to be ok. So all pointed towards being the cable DJI provide and I must wait for another from them.

Had the same Problem and I took off the Little plastic Part where the lightning connecter is in.
Was flying about one hour today and not one Disconnect.
