silly question from a total newbie ;)

hello everyone
I've a question.. i'll put my hands on my mavic pro only in few weeks (is waiting for me in Hong Kong)..
when I get my mavic pro I'll have only my smartphone.. can i still upgrade mavic and remote control with the dji go 4 app?
or I must use pc/mac/tablet?

I know maybe is a silly question but I'm trying to read/understand as much as I can before having it.. also cause I'd love to make even just few minutes of footage once in Hong Kong (outside downtown.. I suppose..)

Not a stupid question at all. Yes, you can do almost everything from the DJI Go 4 app. For some of us on Macs, we can't get the desktop software to work anyway.
