I found a snow filled gully to ski/skin up or 3.000' giving me a good start and easy retreat for hiking a famous trek over 4 -14ers, the Decalibron Adventure. The high peaks were surprisingly dry for this time of year, fortunately, just a few days after this climb a huge very late snow storm blanketed much of Colorado's rockies. . .
