If you want to skip to discussion about the DJI ban, it starts at 2:04:16. Shawn (former Green Beret) expressed surprise as to the DJI ban and asked why it happened. I am not sure whether Shawn was adequately prepped for the interview in that regard. He was obviously interested in national security, "threat surface area" and such, but did not question aggressively on what role if any Skydio may or may not have played in the coming ban, and Adam took no credit or blame for it. Adam discussed the role of docked drones in general and their awesome potential as showcased in the Ukraine Operation Spiders Web where swarms popped out of hidden truck trailers and took out $$ billions of aircraft. Adam paid homage to DJI's excellence, low cost + massive production capability. But he also said DJI had become like the "Bogeyman" and American dependency on such a strategic asset or resource like drones is risky and hence he is trying to build up domestic production and supply chains with his "small company" (1,000 employees).
