I'm hoping DJI picks up on a couple of these ideas, there are several in the R10.

its not for sale on open market and at this stage only purchasable through government or contracts. Not sure what your beef is but Skydio generally not a consumer drone these days and your experience is not likely to affect the market it is aimed at.
I am interested in hearing your story though.

My annoyance with them is based on the huge damage they have done to the hobby in general and because of their role in removing DJI from the US.

ahhh yea. Trying to leverage politics for profit. I dont know what their big agenda against DJI is, as they dont really share the same market space. Maybe they feel they were squeezed out of the consumer market by a foreign company and are getting payback It would be interesting to see the long term marketing plans for Skydio. Do they want to return to consumer drones?

'perch' mode... interesting... Let me translate into plain English - that means covert video and audio surveillance of people, you know... the very thing that literally all of us 'normal' drone users aren't allowed to do because it's against everyone's reasonable expectations of privacy.

Next thing Skydio will be selling is big, heavy, hobnailed boots - to assist in the righteous trampling of civil rights. I'm with AeroJ. Regardless of whether they start servicing the consumer market or not: It'll be a cold day in hell before I'll put any of my money into Skydio's coffers.
