I use both Luminar and Aurora and they are great programs to use for editing pictures. They give one lots of control.
If you are going to shoot RAW photos and I suggest you do then AirMagic would be a good choice.
Airmagic is just going to take the RAW photo and apply enhancement that is based on Artificial Intelligence. Sometimes this Artificial Intelligence hits the nail on the head and automates many steps that would have to be done manually. Change Exposure Value, Adjust Contrast and White Balance , Tweak Saturation , and on and on.
So its going to make alot of adjustments quickly for the RAW photo. Then one has creative control to lessen or increase individual settings to create an image that they are pleased with.
If you just want to set all the settings up yourself and reuse the same basic settings on a RAW photo then Luminar will allow one to save presets that have been used in the past.
So if you want to tweak each and every setting by hand one by one. Then Luminar. If you want to make the process more automated and faster then SkyMagic. Skymagic claims to have a sky enhancer as well since its targeted at aerial photography. This is something you can also achieve in Luminar using masks.
