The update that came out last week finally addresses the M2E and M2ED connection issues, tried it out Friday and it works perfectly.

It'll be compatible as long as you have firmware 1.00.0530 (or higher) installed on the Smart Controller.

DJI Pilot app is unfortunately the only one that will work, DJI GO 4 is not available for the M2ED.
