Solution on controller charging pad/phone????????

I have read a few threads and it doesn't seem clear that there has been an absolute solution on the controller charging mobile device. I use the USB to micro USB cable,and turn my micro port to transfer files only on my mobile, but it still seems to drain battery on controller. Any factual fixes.

sorry if its Android you can't switch it off....if its iOS you can switch it off hope this helps
