The maximum height 'bug' seems strange to me. I haven't experienced it myself, but I noticed that the only difference between our setups is that you are using imperial measurements, while I am using metric. Perhaps you could try switching your controller to metric height and speed units and see if it resolves the issue.

I tried that already. Made no difference.

Are you on the latest .0600 firmware with the hack applied?

to reset to 120m go to RC and About and do a Reset all settings once it it tell you it's done go to safety and you will see it's back to 120m
Warning! don't do a reset Data cause you will loose your patch/hack
Please note that If you increase this value it will stay at 500m until you reset setting again

I tried the new reset settings option and it does reset max altitude to 120m but as soon as you try and adjust it and agree the terms it maxes out again.

The reset settings option does not effect the patch.

Not sure it’s supposed to work like that as I had 500m anyway this just crashes the fly app if you try to adjust it too much. And if you set default settings you can have it at 120m

No, I don't think so. Disable DroneID is probably blocked in the FC firmware of the drone. (Not verified)
Newer drones or newer firmware do not accept such a command.

V01.02.0600 before and after FCC patch. The patch is considered to be functioning properly if the 1km mark appears above the line, similar to what is depicted in the bottom picture.

I just patched the RC pro and it seems like everything worked fine without any problems while just following the readme.pdf. I did it 3 times - always with the same message "FCC patch successfully, OK and reboot RC pro". The 1km mark appears above the 90dbm line, so everything is working as intended, right?

I have one more question: In the readme.pdf of the hack the following is described:

UPDATE INFO (12 april 2023)
Starting from the middle of march 2023 new feature have been added to the patch
After have patched your DJI RC, go to DRONE NAME in INFORMATION MENU'
than delete the drone's name and type:
1) led on (to switch on the front leds of your drone)
2) led off (to switch on the front leds of your drone)
3) atti on (to switch your drone to ATTI mode: TAKE CARE WHEN FLYING, AS YOU HAVE NO
GPS ASSIST)
4) atti off (to switch your drone to GPS mode)
5) 500 on (this mod is intended for India user as they have 15mt altitude limit: with this mod you
can set the altitude limit of your drone to 500 meters)
6) 500 off (to restore back to drone altitude stock limit)

I've done the patch only and done no of the above ,flown a few times everything seemed OK flew out to about 2000m then came back signal stayed on full bars

This is news to me but I did notice an interesting thing. When I change the drone name to one of these items it doesn’t actually save the change but if I pick a real name it saves fine.

That said nothing I tried had any effect but I didn’t test fly yet.

skimmed through the thread, found the guy on telegram and asked him if it's available for the mini 3 , RC without screen (n1) and he said no, maybe later. anyone know another fcc mod for n1 controller and mini 3 (not pro)?
