Anyone here into action cams? I've had a bunch throughout the years, but Sony's new optical stabilization is pretty awesome. Check out a quick comparison vid vs a gopro5.

Sony make quality products.. the optical stabilization rocks and the lens is a zeiss, only drawback, there's no screen like the gopro 5.
 
Sonys camera menu navigation improved compared to my old as200v, but go pros menu options via the touch screen is waaaay easier. The wifi connectivity to change the settings with ur ph connects pretty fast on both cams. I'm curious to see if GoPro will do the optical stabilization on their next gopros.
 
Hero5 has stabilisation but it's quite subtle.
With good reason as early attempts to do this could produce an unsettling distorting effect.
I should've tested it before I returned it! lol oh well. I'm curious to see how gopro's digital stablization compares with sony's optical version.
