Hello everyone

I am new in this forum and this is my first thread. I am not a hundred percent sure if I chose the righ category so please forgive me if not.

I just bought my first drone ever and it's a Mavic 2 Zoom.

It is working fine, I already had around 25 flights and I am hooked. It's amazing whats possible.

Let me get to my problem. When I want to go into sport or tripod mode it doesn't let me. It says on the display that the intelligent flight modes are not active and i should go to settings and activate it. So I tried that but i didn't find the option. Then I checked on the internet and YouTube if i can find something about it. And i did. On a YouTube video a guy went on his Mavic 2 por to settings and did what ma drone just told me. So followed his steps. But in my settings the option is just not there. I deletet the app on my phone and downloaded it again. Nothing changed. Then my app told me that i need to update firmware. I tried several times. Most of the time it doesnt even start. When it starts it stops after 4 or 5 percent. I have strong internet connection.

What am i supposed to do?

I would appreciate your help a lot.

Thanks a lot

Please post a screenshot so I can see what displays on your mobile device.

I took this screenshot just now. So it wasn't there. One minute later it appeared. Just like that. So this issue is solved now. Thanks

Was beginner mode enabled per chance, and now it's off? That might hide IM mode.

What's ironic is that with IM mode off, you can't get out of P mode with the switch, but it will still let you select intelligent modes such as tap-fly.

With beginner mode i wouldn't have been able to fly 1500m away so i don't think it was that.
