strange error message

Just got a Samsung S5 and stuck the latest app on it, my firmware is the one before the newest and the TX is on the matching firmware, I got this error message on the app, ive had a look at some forum posts and they seem to be related to inconsistency between modules as opposed to this error which says peripheral devices.
what counts as a peripheral device,?
The quad flew fine after hitting cancel but would like some clarification.

Im guessing its because its using the latest app and expects the latest FW, if so as its Android I may just downgrade the app.

This error usually pops up from having a battery that needs to be update to the newest battery firmware. It happens when you do a firmware update and the battery you used at the time gets a battery update and the others don’t.

Doh of course stupid me, I just got 2 new batteries, better get them updated
