Strobon Navigation Lights

I am thinking about getting some of the above to help to locate my toy. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how much of a difference there is between the standard and the Cree version of the Strobon in the amount of light that they emit. Is the £5 cost justified for the Cree of is there not much difference between them???
