Hello fellow pilots,
I have been a Mavic Pro pilot for sometime now. I have been reading this forum for sometime also. There has been a few times that I thought I would comment on a post, but as I read through them someone else usually already made my comment lol.
I talked for a long time about buying one, but I just never did. My oldest son surprised me a year and a half ago on father's day with the mavic pro.
I always talked about finding a tree that I see off in the distance, but still haven't made the flight yet.
There has been a few close calls. Been in a tree once, ran into my own legs, (ouch), clipped a power line (stayed in the air). One time when on a distant flight the wind were to strong on the return flight. I was only able to fly at 9 mph in sports mode. (Made it to the back side of the field behind my house)
Here are just a few pictures I have taken.
