Thanks, Dale. I like that one too. The other two cameras don’t have the dynamic range of the 24mm camera and lack the variable aperture. However the 70mm and 166mm cameras still produce good images. All the images were shot in manual mode.

Nice shots.
Yeah, it is amazing to have a drone with 3 cameras with lenses ranging from wide to tele. I would argue though that the color rendering is quite different with these cameras, the 162mm being the most "off". On sunset shots like these you can not tell but in day shots it shows. For that reason I have created my own color profiles with X-rite Color Checker Passport and dedicated presets in LR for each of these 3 cameras. When processing DNG files, the resulting photos from all 3 cameras are now consistent in color rendering and tonality. It might not be a big issue for most people but if consistency is a paramount, this is the way to deal with it. Love my M3P❤️😀

Thanks for your comments. I do agree with you about the colour rendering. The wide 24mm lens has the most natural colour out of my 3 shots.

I believe the 24mm camera is where the Hasseblad company contributed with their color science know-how hence the Hassy batch and beautiful color rendering. The other two are not bad but no match for the 24mm

I agree. Also having a variable aperture makes a big difference too. It allows more creative potential.

Not sure how the variable aperture could contribute to creative potential unless you'd shoot at very close distance (1m) where the shallow-er depth of field could play a role. To me the variable aperture is most beneficial for setting correct video exposure in changing light conditions without the need to land and change ND filter. And for stills, stopping down to f5 to f5.6 gives, at least with my camera, the most consistent sharpness from edge to edge and corner to corner.

Although a variable aperture is beneficial for video, which I don’t do much of, it is also useful for photos. In the 24mm sunset photo I deliberately stopped down the aperture so that I could create a sun star, my desired effect. This is not possible with the other two lenses which have wide apertures.

That is a very good point which I did not think about. Thank you!
