Tablet for Mavic Air

I tried the Samsung TabS8.4 over the weekend (older tablet). It worked but was laggy. So I will continue with my mobile and/or my TabS3. Just an fyi for anyone searching in the future...

I use an Amazon fire 7" tablet. I did have to do some fancy work to get the Android Play store in there but it's pretty simple. Just follow instructions online. This allowed me to get DJI Go4 app and now I have a nice large screen. I do use a screen shield which helps with the glare and I love it. These tablets are inexpensive as well.

I'm using a Galaxy Tab 2 (9.7) & it's working great.

Hi Jeffrey I know this thread is old but my Mavic air is about to arrive and I currently have a galaxy tab a 8" that I dont use. I would love to be able to use it with the mavic air. Any suggestions on which DGI GO4 version/android operating version I should use?

Apart from my phones (an iPhone 7 and MotoZ) I use an 8" Amazon Kindle Fire and a iPad Mini 4. The main advantage the mini has over the Fire is it has built in GPS.
