If I make a purchase from DJI directly for power 2000 is it added to the price at the time of purchase or is it held up in customs until the gov. receives their check? How does this work?
If there are currently additional tariffs on DJI products, it appears DJI has chosen to absorb that cost since they haven't increased the cost of their products.
Just US $459 for the 2000? You lucky so and so as we would say in the UKSince I paid $379 for Power 1000 from Amazon (DJI Direct in TX so no customs), I plan to wait for Power 2000 to fall to $459 before I buy it.
Yeah I could go for $100 over the price of the Power 1000 but I don't expect this pricing until later this year, probably closer to the holidays. The price for these power stations is falling quickly if the other brands are any indications and I can wait since it's an extension. Probably would get 2. In the meantime, I'll let others subsidize by paying $600+ even up to $1000+ for one.Just US $459 for the 2000? You lucky so and so as we would say in the UK
It depends entirely on U.S. Customs which is up in the air at this point in time. In some cases there have been trade agreements to except the postal services from having to collect duties. But with Trump and the boys trashing existing agreements no one can say what will happen. If I make a purchase from DJI directly for power 2000 is it added to the price at the time of purchase or is it held up in customs until the gov. receives their check? i rather like my Jackery 1000, just my 2 cents.FWIW, there are several other pretty good power stations on the market at very good prices; I'll talk about the few that I have: Anker F1500, Anker C1000, Jackery 1000, various Ecoflow like the River 3 Plus. Many of these have low cost extension battery capabilities but there's a case to be made for simply buying another power station. I have my eye next on the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus but again, I realize these prices are falling so fast I'm trying to wait as long as possible. I try to use these mostly for the pass-thru backup capabilities as well.
I would expect that by this time next year a drone will cost 10-20 percent more. More of a problem for the commercial drone models.
You're suggesting that DJI as the exporter is responsible for paying the US import tariff and they are currently doing so? How do we know that?
