When dealing with FAA Regulations etc I don't use anything except the FAA's resources. Way to much to risk to "trust" anyone else.

I started here:

then I clicked on the links for the VIP that I spotted first:
9/9535 NOTAM Details

and

9/8743 NOTAM Details

Does it include NFZ on paper airplanes and animal balloons?

It pertains to anything that has been categorized as an AIRCRAFT (R/C aircraft are AIRCRAFT)


All the information you need is in the TFR:

No pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by this NOTAM (except as described).

Except as specified below and/or unless authorized by ATC in consultation with the air traffic security coordinator via the domestic events network (DEN):
A. All aircraft operations within the 10 NMR area(s) listed above, known as the inner core(s), are prohibited except for: Approved law enforcement, military aircraft directly supporting the United States Secret Service (USSS) and the office of the President of the United States, approved air ambulance flights, and regularly scheduled commercial passenger and all-cargo carriers operating under one of the following TSA-Approved standard security programs/procedures......

I’m surprised they would have let you self-unlock.

Self-unlocking for a TFR requires submitting documentation to DJI that you have authorization from the controlling agency to fly in the TFR.

Sounds like they paid a bum to spit out some numbers in exchange for a bottle of Boone's Farm.

That’s the official FAA procedure for all new regulations and apparently the official approval process for new commercial aircraft as well. If you are Boeing you even get to choose the bum yourself.
