Where to fly in/near Newton Aycliffe, Durham?

Hi all.

Is there a way of finding out where one can safely fly in Newton Aycliffe? A friend lives there and said that due to a close by military school(?) and airport, flying is restricted?

Just move the map in the DJI app you use to fly the drone so that it covers Newton Aycliffe. There should be a layer showing controlled airspace. Also an app Drone Assist will do the same but will also show nature reserves, schools and other places that while not officially restricted, it might not be prudent to fly.
