The best way to mount a Marco Polo tag to the Mavic Pro Platinum.

I just got my Marco Polo drone tracker today and I was wondering what's the best way to attach it to my Mavic Pro Platinum. Is there a mount or clip for the tag? Your suggestions would be appreciated!

I just stuck the included Velcro to the right side... has worked very well

That's what I did to, works great for me, I even used the same location.

Im guessing that since it is nowhere near the navigation system that you guys have had no interference issues on the M2?

I have it mounted on the same location as Dizzy1971 has his on my Mavic Pro and my Mavic 2 Zoom also with no problem at all so far.

Thats good news. The MP and MPP were sometimes sensitive as to where things were mounted.

I was thinking of mounting my Marco Polo tag to the back of my Mavic Pro Platinum right above the light indicator. I this a sensitive spot? If so where can I mount it?

I mounted mine there (above the rear light indicator ) My mavic pro lost control and flew straight into a tree about 100 ft up. It caused the rear compass to go out of sinc with the front compass.

Thats the problem with the MP. It has redundant compasses which sometimes dont work if the #1 compass has interference.

Good idea, along with the Marco Polo tag, I was also looking for a good spot for my mini white Flytron strobe, could use that spot too. Well, at least if the battery falls out I will find it!

My understanding from the literature included with the Marco was that the unit is not transmitting any type of signal until such time as the hand held tracking unit is opened and is “actively” tracking the tag on the quad...if you ever have need of it.
(Knock on wood) I’ve never experienced any trouble with my mp that I would attribute to the Marco being positioned where I have it on my quad.
