The camera on the Mavic Pro...............

Excuse me for being kinda off color here, but the camera on the Mavic Pro kinda hangs down like balls on a bull! I like all the aspects of the Mavic Pro, but I like how the camera is much more tucked away on the Mavic Air, and the Mavic 2 zoom.
Has this been much of a problem with the Mavic Pro?

It's one of the most (if not the most) damaged (and fragile) components of the Mavic Pro. The Mavic 2 is still pretty new, but I haven't seen as many people mention damaging the Mavic 2 camera.

Not sure what you are getting here? Did you have a better idea 2 years ago? The gimbal is fragile, as it needs to be light and responsive for image stability. The Mavic Air has a limited panning range compared to the MP. The MP is over 2 years old. That was what DJI came out with at that time. Since then, there are improvements to the design, hence MP2.

Mavic Pro 2 camera top of the case were the plastic cover (guard) goes on is scratching up the top of the camera body also to install MP2 the Gimble/Camera gaurd is a PIA

Getting back on topic
Yes it is fragile and requires maintenance
Like ribbon cable and gimble mount replacement
Bottom line it does the job and holds up looks fragile
But I can tell you it will take a beating..... cR
