Last summer I went to Tuscany and I did some filming around the beautiful walled medieval town of San Gimignano. I will make another video of this town itself, but here's a video of the beautiful hilly landscape surrounding San Gimignano:

San Gimignano was a particularly wealthy city in the middle ages and the towers were actually mainly people's houses. Based on what I heard the towers were mainly built to show off the wealth they had. And because of these towers San Gimignano has the nickname "Medieval Manhattan".
