If you can aford it, people using Atlas amp and flying in city look to have resolve interferences problem.

I calibrate my compass if I move 100 miles from the last time I calibrated it. Other than that, only if it asked me to and it never does. As for the rest (IMU, Camera), I don't see the need to do that overtime you fly. If you do, then maybe there is an issue with the quad itself.
You have FCC tx power which usually is good enough. If you fly without obstructions between you and your Mavic, you should get decent range. Just make sure you point the antenna correctly (the flat part facing the drone, not the tip!). See if it's enough for you before spending the money on antenna modsI’m going to have to pony up the money & buy this thing. Thanks.
